NHL 11 Trailer (Xbox 360/PS3)

Wow. If you compare how much this series has come along over the past 5 years (NHL 07 -> NHL 09 -> NHL 11) this is phenomenal improvement for a sports game.

Nice to see EA Canada don’t just plan to put the same game out with an updated roster unlike some of EA’s in-house developers choose to do.

Oh, and this trailer was all direct footage from the game’s built-in replay editor. Very swish stuff.

Jordan Staal
Oh man, this was such a great goal from Staal last Thursday. You could tell their goalie Emery was pissed off that night, can’t believe he even scored an own goal too, classic.
Necessary YouTube link to goal is necessary.

So I just bought this for only £32 (≈ $50), not a bad deal to say the least.
dude. your life is over.
this game. well, i have yet to play 10, but this series is phenomenal.

I’m aware of how well-received NHL ‘09 was last year. Hell, it even won sports game of the year from over 12 critics, most of them also made it a nominee for overall game of the year too.
Although ‘10 isn’t as big a refinement as what ‘09 was, it’s still considered an exceptional sports game. I’m looking forward to spending the whole weekend playing it.

And not talking to me? Blasphemous. Tumblr confession time. Ever since I played World Cup USA ‘94 for Sega and sucked horribly at it, I refuse to play sports video games. Yep. There you go internet, a FLAW.
Oh, I don’t think I could go a weekend without some form of communicating with you KG, that would be asking a bit too much from me.
And football games have changed LOADS since, errr… “World Cup USA ‘94”. Likewise with all other sports games, don’t be ignorant towards them and give one a whirl sometime, even if someone doesn’t like sports they’re generally fun to play.
