Some footage I found from this weekend. This is the reason why you don’t put people on stage to play Guitar Hero during bands. We want to hear real music, not people playing Metallica songs on plastic instruments between every band for an entire weekend.
This is exactly why I should have taken my iPhone instead of my old phone to Sonisphere. Sorry I didn’t get your message Jon! Another time I suppose?

A load of people walked away from these guys cause of the whole Coheed and Cambria delay and I think people should have given them a chance. Two things came to mind after their set: One, that was awesome. And two, remind myself to look for more of their music on the Internet when I get home.
Back from my lovely free weekend at Sonisphere (thanks again Claire) and I’m now ready to spend the next hour devoted to reading through the 50 pages of Tumblr posts I’ve missed while I’ve been gone.
Because I’d hate to go on missing three days worth of posts.

Ummm… just got this CD on as I’m typing this, and this is just, the sickest album I’ve heard all year. It is unbelievably impressive, completely gapless, it’s prefectly mixed and if you’ve not listened to it yet, I seriously advise you go get this album, now!
It’s just recognisable song after recognisable song after recognisable song. And the flow between each track is just beautiful.
Bets of all, this album is under a Creative Commons license and is available on a “pay what you want for it” basis, though I recommend if you seriously like it that you put something towards this.
I’m currently jigging away in my chair to a mix of Yael Naim, Eminem, Jimi Hendrix, god it’s moving so fast I’d be typing out a list of artists all day!

Oh, and iamnotwolverine, thankyou for introducing me to this album, yet I am extremely jealous you’re seeing this guy live tomorrow night. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy yourself!
Anyway, I should get a move on to my friend’s house as I’m spending my weekend in Stevenage at Sonisphere Festival, well looking forward to it and should be a great weekend.
