My fellow Tumblr friends, please welcome shinaku.

So glad to see this guy finally on Tumblr. He’s the first real friend I made back when I was in college and we’ve stuck together since. We both happen to take the same course (Computer Science) at the same university (University of Hull) and used to share a house together back in 2008/09 and come September this will once again be the case.

He’s a techie like myself who dedicates much of his spare time to programming yet somehow he remains much cooler than me so please give him a warm welcome and expect to see several reblogs of his content from me.

You know, ‘cause I’m nice like that.

So I ate a dodgy chicken burger last night

Seeing as I’m lame enough to post about it on one social network, I might as well come over to Tumblr and do the same thing right?

Regardless of my bad experience, last night still kicked ass. Although all my friends ended up arguing about the ridiculously long queue into Piper which led us breaking off to go elsewhere, me and my housemate waited it out in a 2+ hour queue until we eventually made it right to the front. Gave everyone else a call and let them jump to the front of the queue, you know, ‘cause I’m nice like that. After that, it was drinking and dancing my ass off into the night.

Anyway, the lesson here is, never trust chicken from takeaways ‘cause it’ll always make you throw up come morning and not want breakfast.

Out bowling up at Kingswood atm. It’s been aaages since I last played.

Hope I do well!

I think I’m a huge night person because

everything is so amazing at night.

The people that matter are the people you stay up talking to. Because the whole world can be asleep, or doing something else, and you guys are staying up and laughing or crying together.

Everything is enhanced at night. I think that’s why I cry every single night. Just because when I finally lay my head down to rest I feel. I just feel.

Feeling is a very powerful thing, you know?

this is so weird, i was thinking about this earlier. only difference is that i don’t cry every night, but i certainly get intense emotions when i am awake during the wee hours, all the time. i should add that due to my insomnia and general fucked up sleeping patterns that this has been my life for the past 8 years at least.

I believe this is something I have loved about America too because my body is so out of sync in London time that when I get there I have ‘early nights’ due to it being like 3-5 am my time. I tend to get really emo when I’ve not slept enough hours, and then write songs or things about it. *hugs Dav*

The original post is so true. I’ve spent several nights during the last few weeks awake and talking to some really great friends of mine. Like you say, the fun, the jokes, the laughter, the emotion is just amplified at those times and you just never want the night to end or to have to call it quits. Giving your time up (or in this case, your sleep for that night) for your friends is a sign of good friendship. I’m not one for crying though, it’s more sleepiness and my body feeling like crap for screwing up my sleep pattern for me but to each their own :-)

Especially when the cutlery at Frankie and Benny’s was MAGNETIC!

Seriously, why don’t other places make their cutlery like this? It provided us with tonnes of fun in between courses.

Spent my evening at Frankie and Benny’s, was okay, but who really cares about the food?…
