Ask me ANYTHING ^^

Dude you should enable asking questions in Tumblr by going to Messages on the right hand side and ticking the option “Let people ask questions.

RIP FormSpring.

So my account with Formspring officially lasted 14 days before Tumblr came along with its own implementation and essentially shat all over FormSpring, LLC by stealing a huge portion of the company’s users.
Nevertheless, times change and software becomes further integrated into a single unified package. Whatever.

Enjoy your evenings and perhaps join me as I get all geeked up on Sony’s live press conference on 3D technologies from CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2010 in Las Vegas. Should be an interesting one!

Now testing: Ask Me
The new Ask feature lets your friends or readers ask questions that you can choose to answer on your blog.
You can enable it from your new Messages page (where we’re about to start adding a bunch of new messaging options!).
They even come with a bunch of new theme variables for designers to format them:
{block:AskEnabled}
    <a href="/ask">{AskLabel}</a>
{/block:AskEnabled}

{block:Answer}
    <div class="answer">
        <div class="question">{Question}</div>

        <span class="asker">
            <img src="{AskerPortraitURL-24}"/>
            {Asker}
        </span>

        <div class="answer">{Answer}</div>
    </div>
{/block:Answer}
Enjoy!

Making the switch to Formspring.me

Seems everyone else is doing it and it looks a lot tidier than the standard version.

You know the drill, ask stuff over at:

http://formspring.me/tomlawrence

Holler.

Whoa, how did it it become 6am so quickly?

Tomorrow’s agenda:

  • Wake up
  • Check Tumblr
  • Shower
  • Check Tumblr
  • Breakfast/Lunch
  • Check Tumblr
  • Retreat to bedroom
  • Check Tumblr
  • Continue catching up on NHL all afternoon/early evening
  • Check Tumblr
  • Eat food here
  • Check Tumblr
  • Play CoD: MW2 all evening
  • Check Tumblr
  • Talk to my amazing friends
  • Check Tumblr
  • Fall to sleep
  • Check Tumblr?

And seeing how I’ve been posting some Formspring responses tonight, now is probably a good time to mention that beloved URL once again:

If you have something you would like to let out or ask me, feel free to do so.

Good morning!

I’m listening…: Oh boy, you are so attractive. =]

Haha. Okay, so I maybe good at dishing out compliments but when it comes to taking them, oh boy do I blush…

After reading how other FormSpring users generally respond to compliments, I’m gonna go ahead with a straight up thankyou for your kind words :-)

Sorry! I’m awkwardly British!

I’m listening…: feel bettah!

Thankyou! I’ve been out of the hospital for a good two weeks now and I’m slowly getting my breathing back to how it used to be. Likewise with the muscles in my arm, I’ve gained full movement of my arm yet I’m still unable to lift heavy objects (and by heavy I mean ridiculously light [10lb/5kg] objects.

Slowly but surely :-)

I’m listening…: I don’t know what formspring is. But hey. I’m just starting to follow this guy online - tomlawrence (dot tumblr dot com) and he seems pretty chill, though he’s in l’hopital right now… But he said formspring something so I am. Because I’m a slave to internet strangers.

I am a university undergrad student. In Canada. Right now the question is whether or not to get vaccinated for H1N1 flu. I’m thinking I will but the lineups at the clinic are up to 4 hours long. And don’t you think that’s kind of a bad idea? To put people who are at risk of contracting the swine flu all together in a confined space for 4 hours?

That’s just what’s on my mind right now. Not that you care, oh mysterious internet rectangle box.

Bye.

http://kevkev.ca

Okay, I totally missed this one in my inbox. Sorry man!

My advice would be to not take the vaccine if you don’t have any serious medical issues. It would seem kind of odd for people who are carrying H1N1 to stand in a queue for a vaccination but I guess there’s always going to be someone stupid enough to do it. If you’re one of those people who wants to make sure they’ve had their shots for everything, I’d try and pay a visit to the clinic during off peak hours, say… at a time like Tuesday afternoon and then hopefully you’re not queuing for too long.

I’ve also just begun following your blog, keep up the good content :-)

I’m getting an early night in hospital for a change

With no more tubes and only a bit of muscle ache, I think it’s time for a well-deserved rest in bed. If you’re reading this, please hope for my sake that my doctor will discharge me in the morning.

And if you’re feeling really nice, formspring me something to respond to in the morning while I’m eating my breakfast and impatiently waiting for the doctors to do their morning trip through the hospital.

I’m sure it’s worth your while.
