So I’m home to Sheffield for the next 4 weeks or so, a change of scenery that is the glorious countryside of the Peak District.

I didn’t get the chance to sleep last night so tonight shall hopefully be a nap to remember!

Oh, and here’s a snap from the drive back. Plain, I know.

Well, goodnight! :-)

Just come back from spending my afternoon out in the Peak District with my family. The area we chose to walk around was Derwent Reservoir (Google Maps link here) and I gotta say, I sometimes completely forget that I have this kind of beautiful countryside only a short drive away into the district.
It’s a shame I don’t often take advantage of the countryside and head out walking more (or maybe even cycling!) and that come next week I’ll be back in the dull city of Hull (yes, it rhymes for a reason), but at least I’ll be at my own place again.
There’s pros and cons to everything I guess.
