The “Her Majesty” performance was Streeter’s idea.

Bleep Bloop Game of the Year: Beatles Rock Band

Featuring performances by Onion AV Club music critic Andy Battaglia, Streeter, Sarah, Josh, Dan, Kevin, several of our interns, our president, Bleep Bloop director/editor Creighton DeSimone in his first on-screen Bloop-pearence (that’s him rocking the whammy at :37), some editors, and more!

A great choice for a Game Of The Year and it’s nice to see someone pick it. I think few too many people get the opportunity to play as the full three-part harmony band and (unless you can’t tell by this video) it makes an amazing multiplayer experience.

As a big Beatles fan myself, I was close to naming this my GOTY but I just have to give the award to Uncharted 2 - this game just pushes the boundaries in storytelling, character design, level design, gameplay, graphics and sound. For me, it’s the “Ocarina Of Time” of this generation. Now that’s a pretty bold statement for me but really, Uncharted 2 was that good.

For any of you PS3 owners who haven’t played Uncharted 2, I seriously suggest giving it a look. And for any next-gen console owner, it’s The Beatles: Rock Band all the way!

This week on Blip Blap we welcomed Anamanaguchi, a band that plays rock music with a hacked NES. You may remember the name from that 8-bit Weezer tribute that went around last week. They are totally awesome, and they’re going on tour starting tonight in Williamsburg.

Damn, nice Flash site too.
