Is it weird I picture everyone to have a British accent before I hear their voice? Does anyone else from a different country become slightly confused when they hear an accent they’re not expecting?
The report’s going great by the way, I almost beat my old record on Doodle Jump.
Client: ”I sure like dealing with you Australian guys, I love the accent! Which part of Australia are you from?”
Me: “I was born in and grew up in Scotland. That’s where the accent comes from!”
Client: “Oh my goodness, I’m sorry.. But you speak English so well!”
Seriously? I mean, come on… SERIOUSLY?
