I don’t wanna wait… for our lives to be over…

I would have watched this religiously.

Needs more yoga.

A while back, doomz (go follow btw) posted an image of many recognisable people and characters from various places in the style of upcoming DS game Scribblenauts.
Earlier this afternoon, I received an IM from my friend Ben who linked me to a new set of “Scribblenautsified” characters by Egg Doodles, except this time from Final Fantasy VII and all the major Street Fighter series (II, Alpha, III and IV) and thought I’d share it with the world.
Click-through to see the full set. I’m sure I won’t have have to go ahead and name all of this lot

It’s EVO 2009 time!
For those of you who don’t know, I’m a huge fighting game fanatic - Street Fighter IV, 3rd Strike, Tekken, Guilty Gear, BlazBlue, Super Smash Bros, Marvel Vs Capcom 2, you name it and I love it.
Every year in Las Vegas, a tournament is held with some of the world’s finest players of various fighting games in which they compete for cash prizes.
The event began last night and runs throughout the weekend and this year, they’re running a LIVE STREAM over on Ustream.tv, with HD content available to IGN subscribers, where an annual subscription is currently on a limited time EVO offer at only $14.95 per annum.
If anyone who reads this enjoys playing fighting games of any sort, I advise you check out some of the archived footage they’ve got on their Ustream channel or check out the previous year’s DVD trailer for some of last year’s highlights.
Seeing how fellow British player Ryan Hart is the official Street Fighter IV European Chamipon, I’ve gotta say I’m totally rooting for him this year in the SFIV tourneys, especially after seeing him beat Justin Wong (amazing footage btw) in a casual money match against fan favourite, Justin Wong at last year’s London event Battle Of Destiny. He came away last year in first place for Tekken 5 and 5th for 3rd Strike, and is one of the best Sagat plays on SFIV out there right now so I wish him all the best at EVO.
What’s interesting is how this year is the first year where the main event has been replaced with a new game (i.e. 3rd Strike replaced with Street Fighter IV) so it’s going to be interesting to see how the first year of serious tournament play of this game goes on.
Usual EVO discussion as always over on SRK.
One day I’ll get my ass over to Vegas and compete in this event, though I’ve got way more practice to put in before I even stand a chance against some of these guys.
Time for some Street Fighter IV I believe!

Sagat: The more IMPORTANT question at hand, however, is who would win in a fight:
Sagat or Chuck Norris?

“They say Sagat sculpted Mount Rushmoore with his awesome knees.”

Sagat all the way! He has an unbeatable formula that works EVERY TIME:
