It’s been a good night.
And that is all.
I hope I contributed to that somehow. Oh, and told you I’d be up and ready to move house. Though I just really don’t fancy taking down my computer at the moment :/

I’m actually calling it a night at midnight. Must be due to my lack of Jonny, Sam and KG =(
But also ‘cause I’m pretty tired out.
Anyway, night night!
In reference to the previous post, please note: I don’t wear pants because I wear dresses almost every day, not because I don’t wear pants in general.
Just clearing that up.
It’s funny you mention this as in my country, not wearing pants while wearing a dress ain’t exactly a wise decision if you know what I mean. Good old British English eh?
Just clearing that up.
;p
This is single-handedly the greatest thing my friend has ever captured on film.
Please watch, it will become your most memorable 10 minutes of the day.
In other news, I was fucking stabbed at the doctor’s office today.
Not kidding.
So, as a kid I was kind of screwed up. I had earaches all the time, weird muscle aches, fevers, etc., etc.. Because of this, I went through a rather impressive battalion of blood tests, shots, medicines, and lollipops. In regards to the needles, I learned to live symbiotically with them. It was either nut up or shut up, so to speak. Because of this learned peaceful coexistence, I actually began to look forward to shots, to pokes and prods, and as result, I now absolutely jump at the chance to give blood. I think it’s fun. I get excited when I need shots. I giggle for joy for flu shots. I was positively gleeful when I needed to get all those vaccinations for college. Long story short, needles don’t bother me at all, I rarely bruise, and I have a pretty outragous pain tolerance.
So when I came out of the doctor’s telling my mom that the nurse almost killed me, she understood the severity of the situation. The fact that this insanely disgusting clump of blood and veins and bruising not only exists on my arm at all, but that it also hurts like a motherfucker, is a true testament to how hard that woman rammed that needle into my vein.
You guys. I was vein raped.
Raped in the vein.
Also. I always wanted to introduce myself to my roommates and new school looking like a heroin addict. No big deal.
*Picture does not accurately represent this injustice to my pleasure. Will bust out the optical zoom lenses for my camera tomorrow in order to convey every last bit of unpleasantness that exists because of this.
Eugh, sounds fun… I can imagine that thing bruising like a bitch now.
Hope today’s moving day is going/gone well :-)
-Go to the doctor’s for various testing awkwardness. Love getting my blood drawn.
-Go to Target for a fridge, apparently, and all my school supplies/groceries (aka cereal, milk, and tea).
-Run to the consignment shop to sell old clothes.
-Go to Goodwill to get rid of the rest.
-Hunt down my portable land-line phone from 8th grade. It will be making a comeback in my room. Jealous? I know. It has changeable faceplates in six different colors.
-Packing all my VHS tapes/DVD’s. Yerp, my TV still has a built-in VCR that works beautifully. All the better to watch every Disney/Pixar movie, first two Jurassic Parks, Braveheart, the Odyssey (TV miniseries bitchesss), Rose Red, and We’re Back, on.
-Finish packing my books. I have two plastic tubs and three boxes already full. Too much?
-Return things that don’t belong in my life like that unfortunate blue shirt I bought last week.
-Make sure U of I knows I will NOT be returning for the fall. Seeing as how classes started yesterday. Just in case they didn’t get the hint, ya hear?
-Attach bike basket to bike. Proceed to take a bike ride with Maggie in said basket.
-Inflate my bike tires.
-Weather-proof my bike.
-That’s a lot of bike-related activities.
It’s going to be a grand day.
Hopefully this time, you’ll get this list done :p
The Reeling, Passion Pit
Come on, Tumblr. We both know you’ve missed me and my nocturnal habits.
Yup, indeed I have! Good to have you back :-)
No! I was kidding, I promise.You can’t put a price on friendship.(via tomlawrence)
Better idea. Come to the US and come with me because I am totally going to go see it again. I’m just saying.A £300 flight and an $8 cinema ticket seems a little too much just to see a movie. Though if I pay a visit to the States and the DVD or Bluray is out by then I’ll be up for watching it! Just saying :-)
Sorry if what I said came across like that. You know if I had the cash I’d be over there with you
guysladiesgirls partying (and seeing District 9) right? Youguysladiesgirls are some of, or should I say, the coolest friends I got (besides Jonny and his poodle power and all).Hope you’re weekend has been fun btw, I guess I’ll be chatting to you about it on Skype or iChat soon!
Ditto on everything, by the way. Also, please learn to ride a bike becauseifwhen you visit, I’ll be expecting you to race me and my pink bike of doom.
As such named because it’s pink, and I crash it into things a lot. :( I have issues turning right for some reason. Or left. Or stopping.
Hahaha, I guess I’ll see who’s up for helping me out when I get back to Hull.
And by the sounds of it, your pink bike is cursed, or perhaps not a safe bike to ride on? Either that or you’re just some crazy nut when you hop on a bike :p
