The idea is that one event caters all, it’s a working formula that has lasted for years.
Although I have little interest in this year’s line-up, it’s saddening I’m splashing the cash on a select few artists featured in the line-up.

As for the rest of the line-up…

  1. The Libertines reforming is pretty sweet, provided that Pete Doherty actually shows up.
  2. Guns N’ Roses have and always will be nothing without Slash.
  3. Blink-182? Hmmm… sure, why not?
  4. Cypress Hill? Excellent! [And no I ain’t joking]

Everyone else, nothing spectacular as I’ve seen every other band before that’s on that list.

I’m tempted to sell my weekend ticket and just go for the Saturday (I really want to see Weezer live) but I shall wait for the Lock Up (Punk, Hardcore and Ska) stage before I can tell it’s gonna be a good year or not and make my decision.

Leeds/Reading Festival 2010 Line-up.
First impressions?: Ummm… Weezer’s playing Saturday. They haven’t visited the UK since Maladroit.
Sold.
